Veterinary Group Support Manager Independent Veterinary Group | Supporting Four Practices
We are an independent veterinary group with four friendly, well-established practices, and we are looking for a Group Support Manager to work closely with our senior leadership team and help our practices thrive.
This is a key role for someone who enjoys variety, builds strong relationships easily, and understands how great support behind the scenes makes a real difference to teams on the ground and the clients they care for.
You will act as a central point of support across the group, working alongside practice leaders, clinical directors, and the wider management team. Your focus will be on helping our practices run smoothly and consistently, while protecting the individual character of each site.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting senior leaders with operational projects and day-to-day priorities
Working with head nurses to improve systems, processes, and team engagement
Helping to coordinate group-wide initiatives such as recruitment, training, compliance, and client experience
Using data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth
Being a visible, approachable presence across all four practices
This is a hands-on role that combines strategy with practical support.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in veterinary practice management or multi-site healthcare management
Understands the realities of working in practice and can build trust with clinical and non-clinical teams
Is organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
Communicates clearly and confidently at all levels
Enjoys problem-solving and takes ownership of their work
We are proud to be independent and to keep decision-making close to our teams and clients. You will be joining a supportive leadership group that values collaboration, honesty, and common sense. Your voice will matter, and your work will have a real impact across the whole group.
We offer a competitive salary, flexibility where possible, and the opportunity to shape a role that will continue to grow with the group.
