Registered Veterinary Nurse to join St George’s Vets, 24 hour hospital.
Come and join the St Georges team! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join St George’s Vets on a full time basis. At the hub of the St George's group, we have a busy 24 hour animal hospital. We also offer a high-quality GP service in the branches, and they act as a source of clinical cases for our hospital. The successful applicant will be placed mainly at our busy Wolverhampton Animal Hospital. Our hospital services include CT scanner, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, in-house blood machines, capnography, physiotherapy, cardiology and orthopaedics.
The required duties of this role include driving productivity, keep workflow moving forward, organisation of the team, organisation of the operations, preparing animals for theatre, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in theatre if required, to coach, mentor, motivate and develop other RVN’s to build up their nursing skills. This is a full time position with an average of 37.5 hours per week and 1 in 10 weekends to be worked. No OOH. Competitive salary, pension scheme, £500 CPD allowance per year, birthday leave included.
Successful candidates must be Registered Veterinary Nurses with a minimum of 4 years experience in this field. There will be plenty of opportunity for career growth with this role also. An ideal position for someone looking to take the next step.
