RVN required- Join our supportive and friendly team
We're a warm and friendly independent three site SA clinic based in the semi rural village of Henfield in West Sussex, only 15 minutes from Brighton and the coast. We're looking for a new RVN to join our happy team. Our team consists of 10 experienced and approachable vets, 7 super RVNs, 1 brilliant SVN, 4 amazing ACAs and 10 super receptionists. Being family owned and run, the bosses are approachable and work alongside the team, meaning the whole team feels appreciated and cared for.
Our practice has a clinically modern approach with excellent facilities such as two theatres with Multiparameter monitoring, full Idexx lab machines, imaging suite, laparoscopic equipment, Imagyst, and individually heated glass fronted kennels in both the dog and cat wards. We are proud of our practice, and all our staff members within it.
We encourage and support our nurses to use their skills and so we’ll value your professional opinions and experience. Your role will be diverse, with anaesthesia, radiography, nurse clinics and medical skills all routinely used. If you have a special interest or skill then these are encouraged and CPD is funded.
We are looking for one full time, or possibly two part time nurses to fulfill this role. The role is primarily based in Henfield with one or two days a week spent at one of our branch surgeries. There are no out of hours and the earliest shift starts at 8am with the ‘late’ shift only a 7pm finish. Saturdays are approximately 1:4. These are paid in addition to your salary. No Sundays or bank holidays.
Salary is dependent on experience and ranges from £28,000 to £33,000.

“When I first started I didn’t have any veterinary knowledge, but every single member of the team from the vets and nurses to the reception staff all helped and supported me and now I can help care for the patients and assist the nurses in a confident and useful way. I can’t imagine working anywhere else!” Katie, Animal Care Assistant
“I have been here for 15 years- you could say I’m part of the furniture! Our clients are well bonded, and the atmosphere has such a warm and friendly feel to it. I also love that we have such a good reputation in the community- I honestly feel proud to work here.” Helen, receptionist
