Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced RVN with a kind and compassionate approach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate about patient and client care and share in our values.

This is a full-time position to be worked over 4-5 days. Saturdays are worked on a rota basis and there are no Sundays or on call requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurse Consultations
  • Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures and examinations
  • Monitoring and care for animals during and post-surgery
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Conduct routine diagnostic tests, including blood samples, urine analysis, and radiography
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients using our practice management software
  • Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
  • Educate and advise pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and post-treatment care
  • Keep the clinic clean and organised

What we are looking for: 

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectivwly in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • A compassionate approach to animal care and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
