Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at our Hagley branch. As a practice, we are very client-focused and strive to constantly excel in customer service. We use our nurses to their full capacity during the working day. Our nurses run a range of clinics and will take on duties including lab work, diagnostic imaging and varied kennel and theatre requirements. Our ideal candidate would be confident and used to delivering a high standard of clinical work and patient care.

The position is full time, 5 days per week. Mixture of early and late shifts, typically 8am-4pm and 11-7.30pm. Part time hours and other working shift patterns would be considered for the right applicant. Weekends are on a rota basis no less than 1 in 6 weekends and time given off in lieu. We have a dedicated night nursing team.

We are an 11 vet equivalent, 4-branch small animals practice based in Worcestershire. We have a happy, forward-thinking team of vets, nurses and support staff as well as state-of-the-art facilities. These includes operating theatre, separate dog/cat kennels, use of digital & dental x-rays, ultrasound and endoscopy equipment at our Hagley branch. Our Hagley branch is a 3 vet and 4 nurse clinical practice. Nurses are encouraged to specialise in their chosen area with a generous CPD allowance, as well bring any ideas that they believe would help us strive to our gold standard care for our patients and owners.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for excellence and a commitment to the highest quality of service we want to provide for our clients. Someone who is confident in their hands-on nursing skills of a range of small-animals, providing both emergency and routine healthcare. Able to communicate confidently and to work positively and collaboratively with colleagues and clients. Someone with good organisation skills and able to prioritise duties day to day in an ever changing and demanding environment.
