Veterinary Nurse required at Wellpets, Sittingbourne
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and established team at Wellpets Vets! We aim to provide a varied working day to our Nurses with some daily duties including:• Nurse consults• Assisting with surgical patients• Advising clients on the health and welfare of pets • Providing gold standard care to our clientsThis is a full-time position working 4 days per week (10-hour shifts per week) OR 5 days a week (8-hour shift).Either working week will also consist of 1 in 4 weekends (Sat & Sun 08.30-16.00) and no out of hours.
The salary for this role is up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience. A £1500 welcome bonus is on offer and we are able to support a relocation package for the right RVN!
Wellpets are a group of 3 small animal branches in Kent and we are looking for an enthusiastic and caring RVN to work at our busy practices on the Isle of Sheppey and Sittingbourne in Kent. We have excellent facilities such as digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new in-house lab with a well-established team of friendly staff at all our branches. With great train links to London, award-winning Blue Flag beaches and Elmley Nature Reserve nearby.
We have a long-standing team of 4 Vets, 4 RVN, 1 SVN and 5 support staff working across our 3 sites. Our Vet’s interests vary from medicine, orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound, and a GP certificate in Cardiac Ultrasound. We encourage our Nurses to use their skills and knowledge within the practice with nurse clinics, advising clients about their pet’s health and welfare and supporting the Vet team. We are very much a community-based group and are looking forward to being more involved in local events now restrictions have been lifted.
We have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join the team. The role will include general Veterinary Nurse duties such as lab, in-patient care, theatre, radiography, dispensary, and nurse clinics.
