Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Oundle Veterinary Surgery
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to joining our team at Oundle Veterinary Surgery.Our Nurses have set shifts per day including, ops nurses, consulting nurse, inpatient nurse, and floating nurse. The working days/hours can be flexible; to include one late shift a week and one in 6 Saturdays (with inpatient cover Sunday). There is no OOH for this role.
Oundle Veterinary Surgery is situated in a beautiful rural town in Northamptonshire with excellent transport links within the neighbouring city of Peterborough. Whilst so close to the convenience of a city, Oundle promotes the idyllic country lifestyle with its quaint boutiques and coffee shops. With Stamford, the home of Burghley Horse Trails, less than half an hour away there is the perfect balance of necessity and luxury.
Oundle Vets is a progressive SA first opinion practice with up-to-date technology. It is part of a 5-site group called Sampson Park Group so there's a brilliant opportunity for learning and delivers an excellent support network for growth and development. Our team is currently made up of 4/5 vets, 5/6 nurses and full reception cover. We have a referral site within the group (Byre Vets) where we regularly see orthopaedic/dental/ophthalmology/physio referrals. We pride ourselves on our wellbeing initiatives and team engagement.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse, but we would also consider a high calibre second year student nurse.
