RVN required at Earlswood Veterinary Hospital - Belfast, Antrim
An opportunity has risen for a full-time or part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our existing team of highly competent nurses. Your role will be busy and varied, incorporating all aspects of nursing, although we encourage our nurses to develop their own area of interest for which CPD and in-house training are actively encouraged and funded. Your typical weekly working hours are 4 or 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (between 08:00 and 19:30), hours will include 1 in 8 week-end rota for a full-time employee.
Earlswood Veterinary is a leading, RCVS accredited, general and referral hospital in Belfast. Our diagnostics and treatments are second to none and our clinical team is highly trained and experienced to ensure our patients receive the very best treatment. Our referral work encompasses the fields of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, rehabilitation and physiotherapy. You will join a team of 18 nurses, ward assistants and sterile services technician working with 7 Veterinary Surgeons. Our facilities include three operating theatres, x-ray, on site 16 slice CT, visiting high field MRI, ultrasound, arthroscopy, fluoroscopy and endoscopy.
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse with post qualifying experience to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care. You will demonstrate experience of working as part of a team, have good communication skills, have the ability to work in a busy environment and multi-task. Experience in referrals work and/or anaesthesia is an advantage although not essential.
