Talented night nurses with cattitude to bring our new service to life
The London Cat Clinic is an independent, purpose built, award winning feline-only veterinary practice with an outstanding reputation for clinical excellence and great customer service.
We believe in the absolute gold standard of care for our patients and clients and are very proud of the level of care we are able to provide and are constantly striving to improve on this.
We are a very busy, first opinion practice with a growing referral service and have exciting plans to continue this growth and expand our care for our patients to 24 hours. We are looking for extraordinary nurses to join our team to enable us to deliver this service for our clients.
This is out-of-hours but with a difference. It is over-night care and not an out of hours emergency service. There will be no phone calls in the middle of the night as it will be you and your vet dealing only with the patients that have been admitted throughout the day. There will be procedures admitted during the evening so no shortage of emergency medical or surgical fun but no phone calls midway through to disturb your clinical flow.
We operate a significant number of nurse consultations for a variety of routine and non-routine conditions and this does form part of the role in the early evenings so there is still plenty of opportunity for client and patient contact and to build those very important bonds that might be missing in ‘normal’ emergency work.
You will be joining a passionate and dedicated team, in which the front-of-house team, the nurses and the vets completely rely on each other and all work together to deliver the very highest levels of care and service. The combined efforts of the team are infinitely more effective that than that of each individual or role.
We are looking for a caring, cat crazy, highly skilled and driven night nurse who is passionate about offering the highest standards of care to their patients. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about keeping their skills and knowledge up to date and about ensuring the maintenance of our excellent standards of care. You will be supported by an on-duty night vet.
The role is one that will definitely evolve as this particular area of our services develops so you will need to be flexible and prepared for this particularly in the initial stages.
We envisage a 7-days-on-7-days-off shift pattern, including weekends and Bank Holidays and further details can be discussed during the interview.
If you think you have the magic that can bring this exciting new phase of our clinic growth to life we want to hear from you. Please submit a covering letter and your CV to the Alice at the email address above and we hope to welcome you as a new member of The London Cat Clinic team very soon
