Job Description

We are locate on the Hampshire/Surrey border. We have 3 well equipped surgeries. We have digitial xray, microscopy, ultrasound, new Idexx In house lab equipment and new dental equipment. We carry see orthopaedic, cardiology, exotic and acupuncture cases as well as general practice. Our Clinical Director is working towards a Surgical Certificate as well. We have a varied case load. Patient and client care is very important to us. Our amazing team consists of 5 full time and 4 part time experienced vets, 5 full time and 2 part time RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 ANAs and 5 receptionists.

About the role


 We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified RVN to join our friendly team of 9 nurses and 2 ANAs in our 3 well equipped surgeries on the Hampshire/Surrey border. The position is full time but we can consider a part time position for a more experienced RVN. Shifts will include theatre, inpatient care and reception duties. We have no on calls but we do take care of our patients evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Recently qualified nurses may also enroll in the Vet Nurse Academy and will receive a £1000 bonus on the successful completion of the course.

Applicant requirements


Position is for RVN but we would accept newly qualified or 2nd year student. The candidate needs to be able to work under pressure and in a team. They also need good communication as will be passing information from client to vet and to other colleagues.
