Job Description

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Cibyn Veterinary Clinic. We are looking for a forward thinking, friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Caernarfon. This role is open to full time and part time applicants and as we are a flexible team who enjoy a good life-work balance, the hours can be discussed to be mutually agreeable for both the practice and the candidate. There is a shared rota for Weekends and out of hours. Within this role you will be encouraged and supported to use the full range of your skills, including a mix of theatre work, caring for inpatients, imaging, consulting, reception work and general administrative duties.

Rota
3 days out of 5 a mixture of early, late and some weekends and out of Hours per rota

About Us
We are a friendly, team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants, and support staff. We believe in having a good work life balance that allows us to provide the best care for our patients and clients. We get to know our clients well which then in turn gives a great rapport that helps us to provide an appreciated bespoke service. Our practice is a very busy, well equipped and comfortable clinic. Based in the royal town of Caernarfon, we are fortunate to be in a beautiful part of the world with Snowdonia right on our doorstep.

At the Clinic we have 2 Clinical Directors who lead a team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons , we have an Ophthalmologist who runs a busy Eye Referral centre , we have 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses 3 trainee Veterinary Nurses , Animal Care assistants and 4 Receptionists and 2 Practice Administrators. We are a small animal Vets but do have the occasional weird and wonderful Case.

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is flexible and willing to learn and grow in the role. We are proud to provide outstanding patient and client care, and this should also be at the heart of our successful candidate.
