Registered Veterinary Nurse required across 3 sites at Oval Pet Centre

Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a bubbly and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. A day in the life of a Vet Nurse is never typical but if it were, this would include providing excellent clinical care to our patients, supporting our Vets & the rest of the team - and being supported back!

The ideal candidate will work across our three sites, (Sidcup, Welling & Eltham) alongside our great team of Vets and Nurses to deliver exceptional clinical and customer care. Your time will mostly be spent at the Sidcup and Welling practice with the occasional days scheduled at Eltham. We will provide the rota at least one months in advance. The position is full time working a two-week rota, (week 1 is 4 days, week 2 is 5 days). No OOH.

The salary for this role is up to £28,000 depending on experience.

About Us

The Oval Pet Centre is a busy first opinion small animal practice situated in sunny Kent, only 20 minutes by train to central London. We currently have 3 practices, two for essential care and one vaccination clinic. We have the full range of diagnostics you would expect, Idexx blood machines, Idexx Urinaylsis in house and a Full Dental suite with X-ray.

About the Team and Culture

Our friendly team is made up of 5 full-time Vets, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 12 supporting team members. Our practice is multilingual and currently has Vets from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, and Poland. We are a very friendly, close, and inclusive team that like to promote a supportive culture and discuss cases when necessary. We are very supportive of CPDs if you want to focus on a particular area of care.
