The Celia Hammond Animal Trust (CHAT) is a charity that combines low cost veterinary care with rescue with re-homing capabilities. Working for CHAT, you will be nursing the animals of people on low incomes who do not qualify for help from the major charities, as well as looking after owned pets, you will have the opportunity to nurse our rescued cats, who were abused or unwanted, back to health and into loving new homes.
We have a strict non-destruction policy so lack of space or lack of money do not limit the treatment we give.
With us you will have the opportunity to nurse a wide range of medical and surgical cases as well as routine cases, in a caring and welfare driven environment. There is no reception work with the role.
You will work Monday to Friday with occasional weekends on an in-house rota basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced and eager to make a difference to the welfare of animals in South East London.
