RVN required at Provost Veterinary Group
The RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a full or part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our first opinion practice. Duties to include all aspects of nursing care and surgery. The rota would be 5 days a week with 1:5 weekends (Friday duty and Saturday day shift) with a day off the following week. No phones or OOH past 7pm with inpatients being held on weeknights only.
About UsWe are located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic team which consists of 6 vets, 6 RVNs and 6 receptionists. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, new Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. We have regular nurse meetings and full team meetings and offer a fantastic supportive and a progressive working environment.
Applicant RequirementsWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with high standards of patient care. You may be working in smaller groups or sole charge leading a branch site, so it will be an advantage to be comfortable in such situations (support always available if required). Good communication skills when working with both the team and clients are essential given the faster pace of the current clinical setting.
