Registered Veterinary Nurse required at The Brook Veterinary Clinic
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team here at The Brook Veterinary Clinic!No two days are the same, but some day-to-day duties will include:General veterinary nursing duties, including monitoring anaesthetics, nursing sick animals, administrating medicine, taking x-rays, running bloods and nurse consultations. We can consider full time or part time hours for the right candidate. We can be flexible with shift patterns for the right candidate; however, they must be able to cover some evening shifts and out of hours. The successful candidate will work 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-5pm, then cover on call until Monday morning
The salary for this role is up to £26,000 depending on experience.
We are a friendly first opinion small animal practice set in the beautiful County Fermanagh. We are RCVS accredited and are well-equipped with a digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, inhouse blood machine. The practice is just a short 10-minute walk to the town centre and close to local attractions such as Enniskillen castle. The area has a great nightlife and is a very popular area for golf and water sport lovers.
We are a team of 7 veterinary surgeons, 2 RVN's, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 nursing assistant and 3 receptionists. We currently have one certificate holder in radiography and encourage our team to continue their development. Our ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working.
The successful candidate must be a registered Veterinary Nurse who will deliver a high standard care. Candidates must be dedicated to progressing their knowledge and practical skills to ensure they fully support the Vets with a range of potentially complex cases. An experience of nurse consults is also desirable. An experience of nurse consults is also desirable, but not essential as we would consider new graduates. Accommodation can be provided if required.
