Registered Veterinary Nurse required at North Weald Vets
The RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Nurse to join friendly team in North Weald near Epping, Essex.You will be confident in completing general nursing duties such as; monitoring anaesthesia, inpatient care and occasional help with reception cover.
We are happy to consider both full and part time applications and can be flexible for the right candidate. Generally, you will work an 8-hour shift on a rota, for example, 8 am-4 pm, 9 am-5 pm or 11 am-7 pm. You will be required to work 1:3 Saturday mornings between 8 am-1 pm, no out of hours.
The salary for this role is up to £28,000 depending on experience.
North Weald Vets is a small animal, first opinion practice based in Epping, providing an easy link to central London and the M11. Our friendly team is made up of 2 full time and 2 part-time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 3 students and a dedicated receptionist. We aim to offer friendly, personal care to our client’s pets and have all the usual toys including in house diagnostics and digital X-rays as well as ultrasound facilities, with some orthopaedics procedures undertaken in the house too.
Applicant Requirements You will be a qualified nurse or a year 2 student nurse. We are hoping for someone who can fit seamlessly into our friendly and supportive team. Having confidence with anaesthesia and the ability to take blood, place catheters and help with nursing clinics would be ideal.
