Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Galemire Vets

Job Description

The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Cheshire. We are a small animal practice who see a varied case load every day. The role will include general nursing duties, monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consultations, pet care and some reception work. Minimal cleaning will also be included.

There is a full-time role working a 40 hour week over 4 days and a part time role working a 20 hour week over 2 days. Both roles require working 1 in 7 weekends which will be paid as overtime. There will be no out of hours required for these roles. Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable! We pride ourselves on our patient and customer care and supporting the reception team is essential by answering the telephone and assisting with customer queries. We will be looking to re-introduce our nurse clinics soon after lockdown restrictions lift and are looking for someone with new ideas to expand our offering for customers and pets alike.

Salary is £24,000-£26,000 depending on experience.
