Permanent role of Veterinary Nurse in our Rathcoole practice
Suitable for new graduate veterinary nurses joining the register in 2024
Full-time, Part-time and Flexi-time positions considered
Full-time includes 40 hours/5 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays in our referral centre in Athy
Day off in lieu of any Saturdays worked
No OOH or on call work
Salary is €28,000 (or €13.50 per hour for part-time)
Full support and training supplied with the IVC Evidensia Nurse Academy

Our 100% Small animal practice in Rathcoole is a busy, first opinion practice located in South Dublin.
At Vet Care you can expect individualised, state-of-the-art medical care for our patients. We keep our practice up to date with all the latest equipment necessary to offer our high standards of service including digital radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped laboratory with comprehensive blood and urine analysis. Our sister branches are in Carlow, Athy and Laois. We are mostly first opinion practices with our main referral centre in Athy. We offer a range of referral services including Orthopaedics, Ultrasound (both cardiac and abdominal), and Soft Tissue Surgery. Our practice in Rathcoole works very closely with several local and national charities.
Our friendly Rathcoole team is made of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 2 Veterinary Nurses, and a receptionist/groomer.
