We’re looking for a caring and committed Canine Healthcare Advisor to help ensure our dogs receive the expert care they need as they prepare to empower individuals with hearing loss to live independently and confidently.
About The RoleThis role is hybrid and will based from our Northern Centre in Bielby, York, East Yorkshire.
In this practical, hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for making sure their physical and emotional needs are met with excellence. From overseeing routine care and health to supporting volunteers, your work will be vital to each dog’s journey through training.
You’ll be trained in national wellbeing protocols, how to provide tailored healthcare support, and how to triage when issues arise. Collaboration is key - you’ll work closely with volunteers and team members, offering advice, technical expertise, and encouragement to help them thrive in their roles.
