The Department for Land-Based studies, within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences is based at our Northop Campus. The enriched learning environment at the Northop Campus has helped countless students get ahead. Situated in the rural village of Northop, the campus reflects the backgrounds and cultures of the area, specialising in the teaching of Equine Science and Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Conservation. Our Northop campus plays host to around 100 students per year, creating a community where everyone grows together and learning is provided in a much more interactive and intimate way. In addition to lecture and teaching rooms, the campus boasts environmental and science laboratories, ancient woodland and conservation area, and formal and informal gardens. The latest addition to the campus is a state of the art vet nursing clinical space to support the recently validated FdSc Veterinary Nursing degree, which an exciting addition to the portfolio at our Northop campus.
Wreham Glyndwr University and are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join the team as a Clinical Placement Support Tutor on the Veterinary Nursing degree. The post holder should have experience of being a clinical coach and be able to draw on their own clinical profession and experience to support our veterinary nursing students while out in clinical placement.
The post holder will need to be a registered veterinary nurse or a practising MRCVS.
The ability to speak Welsh and offer support through the medium of Welsh would be highly valuable.
