Medivet Clapham is currently seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join and lead their nursing team; consisting of 1 x RVN, 2 x SVNs, a PCA and reception team.You will be involved in all aspects of nursing. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
You will be working 40 hours per week with the standard 1 in 4 weekend shifts as well as a fair share of bank holiday and on call.

Medivet Clapham is a busy three Vet branch in Abbeville Village in the heart of Clapham.
All three Vets have over ten years' experience, Laura has a certificate in cardiology and Guy has a certificate in endosurgery.This branch performs a high volume of procedures including endoscopy, cardiac scans and lap spays, equipped with endoscopes, ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system for keyhole surgery, full in house lab, ethylene oxide sterilisation and digital x-ray. We support the Fear Free concept so that our patients grow to love us, not fear us. You will be working with 2-3 other nurses and 2 CCAs.The branch is situated about 10 mins walk from both Clapham Common and Clapham South. There are also several nearby bus routes.
