Job Description

  • Veteris is an independent 24/7 practice dedicated exclusively to emergencies in North London. [emoticon:9a6067ad5fa1494ebefe07d9e6ec3db0]

Since 2020, we have been proudly serving Londoners’ pets through a combination of an RVN-led emergency triage call centre and a unique out-of-hours emergency home visit service (go check out our website ( or our Instagram @veteris_uk to see what we do).

Our newly established 24/7 Shoreditch emergency-only practice is a natural evolution of our current commitment towards Emergency Care. It extends the range of services we currently offer (triage, home visits) to the independent practices that we help with the cover of their emergencies. [emoticon:d7b1aadd54a04f2d8a203e9f20e34a47]

Our unwavering focus on emergency care, day and night, ensures consistent attention and care for our patients and our team. Both are equally vital to our mission.

We are looking for an open-minded Head Nurse RVN who would feel responsible for taking care of the RVNs, theVCAs Teams and help around the practice!

    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of mental health issues prevalent in the industry and a commitment to addressing them proactively.
    • Be fluent in the language of positive management and exhibit exceptional organizational abilities.
    • Maintain a friendly and optimistic demeanour, consistently focusing on the positive aspects of situations to uplift team spirit.
    • Hold a firm belief that our industry must never compromise on the quality of animal care.
    • Take responsibility for the team's growth by providing training and organizing external training opportunities.
    • Have a proven track record of head nursing in the UK, and be ready to embark on this exciting new adventure with us.
