Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Pool Farm Vets
Here at Pool Farm Vets we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to work on a part-time temporary contract basis with the possibility of that becoming permanent. The ideal candidate would be able to aid us in the day-to-day smooth running of our practice. You will be able to place catheters, take blood, run the laboratory tests, monitor anaesthetics, obtain radiographic images and complete other schedule 3 procedures. Our nurses are given the opportunity to regularly scrub into orthopaedic, laparoscopic and soft tissue surgeries. You will also be involved in admitting and discharging day patients, alongside nurse clinics.
The rota will include working 30 hours per week which can be flexible between 3 and 5 days. There will be 1 in 3 Saturday morning consultations. We do not expect our nurses to do out of hours although there is the opportunity to be involved in the hospitalisation rota if wanted. VetsNow cover our out-of-hours emergencies.

The practice is based in the beautiful rural village of Betley on the Cheshire/Staffordshire/Shropshire border.
