Locum RVN with degree in Veterinary Nursing Science, qualified 15 years, achieved ISVPS certificate in Emergency and Critical Care 8 years ago and currently working towards ISVPS certificate in Anaesthesia. Have worked in referral my whole career alongside some first opinion. Worked in busy referral hospital in Swindon for 8 years with final 2 years as their referral medicine nurse. In current job work mainly in theatre doing anaesthetics for referral and first opinion cases. I have also worked for Vets Now as a locum for the last 9 years alongside my main job so have a lot of experience in Emergency and Critical Care. Main interests are ECC, inpatient care and anaesthesia and confident in all areas of nursing except first opinion nurse consults and scrubbing in for operations. Available as locum RVN fulltime (over 4 days) or part time from February 2023.
