Vet Nurse Online is inviting applications for this years 'Volunteering for Animal Welfare Grant' for £500 towards volunteering in the assistance of animal welfare worldwide.

Vet Nurse Online says volunteering to help improve animal welfare can be an amazing opportunity to use veterinary nursing skills in a really valuable and rewarding way, and after the success of last years' grant, which helped two VNs to travel to Sri Lanka and India to volunteer, it has decided to offer the Grant again this year.

Any application will be considered for the grant - from spending some time helping at a local charity to travelling to volunteer with animals abroad.
