Party Bags

The following is a list of things you could include in party bags to given to all clients at the end of the party:

  • Certificate of attendance personalised for each puppy.

  • Free sample of a complete puppy food (available from most pet food manufacturers including Iams, Purina and Hills).

  • Measuring cup for the complete diet.

  • Instructions on how to change a diet.

  • Flyers advertising your nursing clinics/Pet Health Adviser Club if applicable.

  • Flyer advertising your website if applicable.

  • Sample of a healthy treat (such as a product from the Pedigree Light & Tasty range).

  • Sample of Logic Oral Hygiene gel and instructions for use (available free from Sanofi).

  • Free sample of Hills Canine T/D Mini (these are not available from Hills - we make up our own using small grip-seal bags and stickers with the Hills logo on that we downloaded from their website - speak nicely to your rep and you may get a free bag of food specially for making up the sample packs!)

  • Resource page of useful contact numbers (include a reputable boarding kennels, responsible dog walkers, training classes and groomers). Never recommend services of which you do not have first-hand experience.

  • A healthy, safe treat or toy. Be very careful with what you give out. Hide chews are cheap and cheerful, but puppies can choke on them. It is safer to split packs of Pedigree Rasks.

  • Healthcare booklet for the first year of the puppy's life.

  • Practice brochure and price-list if available.

  • Identity disc - we have ordered some excellent ones direct from Athena (one side is engraved with a comment such as "Barking Mad" and "Smile or I'll Poo" leaving the other side free for a phone number - only 85p and clients adore them!).
