Tower Veterinary Centre, Perth

Salary up to £31,000 depending on experience plus benefits

Tower Vet Centre have a fantastic opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join their team on a part- or full-time basis. This job offers a variety of duties, with no two days the same. Our team of dedicated nurses and animal care assistants are proud of the care we provide.
You will assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients in theatre, putting up and dispensing prescriptions, being involved and supporting the learning of the trainee nurses, and most importantly offering the best customer and animal care services to both our clients and pets. There may be an opportunity to develop nursing clinics within your area of expertise and confidence.

About the rota

The full-time hours are 40 hours across 5 days per week between the hours of 8.00am and 7.30pm. We are happy to discuss part time and flexible working for the right candidate.

Saturday mornings are on a 1:6 rota from 8:30am and 2.00pm

We do not have any out-of-hours as we are a Vets Now partner practice, but our nurse team do cover a rota for inpatients if required. All extra hours are paid.

Tower Veterinary Centre is a single site small animal practice on the outskirts of Perth in Central Scotland. We have recently undergone extensive refurbishment. This includes new kennels, improved cat ward, imaging suite, new consultation room and refurbishment of the current consult rooms.

We are provided with top of the range equipment; our latest purchase is a new state of the art ultrasound. We have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, rigid endoscopes, and extensive laboratory equipment.

We have a super friendly client base with many long-standing clients. Tower Veterinary Centre has an excellent reputation, thanks to the dedication of our Vets, Nurses, and reception team.

Meet our team

We have an excellent team of seven experienced vets. The team also consists of three qualified nurses who have been with Tower for over 45 years between them. We are a nurse training practice and have two wonderful student veterinary nurses. We also have two fantastic animal care assistants who help keep our level of care at the very best standards.
