Night Nurse permanent full-time or part-time

Job Description

These positions are ideal for nurses who have an interest in post-surgical care. This encompasses many interesting aspects of nursing- notably analgesia, physiotherapy, fluid therapy and general husbandry. Additional training for our varied surgical caseload will be provided where required.
Even though night nurses spend part of their time working alone, they are very much part of the team and are hugely appreciated by every member of the team and the owners of the pets they are caring for.
This is a new role we are creating so at the moment we are looking at which working patterns would work for the practice and the team. We recognise the importance of a work life balance and are keen to find the ideal rota. We are considering 7 nights on 14 nights off. 5 nights on 10 nights off, 4 nights on 8 nights off, 7 nights on 7 nights off but are open to further suggestions. Salary will be determined by shift pattern.
Our independent practice strives to constantly offer the best care possible and ongoing CPD along with studies for further qualifications will be encouraged and supported.
