Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Staverton Vet Surgery
The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a full time registered veterinary nurse to join us at Sampson Park Veterinary Surgery!
Your duties would include consults, hospital and anaesthetics, along with occasional admin; insurance forms, help with rota and working alongside site CD to organise the reception and nursing team. Someone who can take on being a clinical coach for our student nurse would be ideal.
This role will be maternity cover for at least 6 months, working a minimum of 30 hours per week over 4/5 days. You will be required to work 1:3 Saturday mornings for 3.5 hours, with time off in lieu given the following week. No out of hour work but occasional inpatient care may be required.

We have all the usual toys including a new blood machine, dental, x-ray, ultrasound and brand new multiparameter, our site also has a free car park. We are a lovely team of 3 experienced vets (2 certificate holders in medicine), 2 receptionists, 1 student nurse and 1 veterinary care assistant. We are a happy and cheerful team. Cakes, sweets, tea and coffee always available in our surgery!
Applicant RequirementsWe are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team, experience would be preferred. Our ideal candidate can work well within a team and has good organisational skills. A good sense of humour will be appreciated!
