The Umm Suqeim Veterinary Centre is a Dubai based Small Animal Hospital providing extensive surgical & medical care for companion animals. Our large 24 hour facility is excellently equipped and is able to provide superior standards of care utilising the latest equipment and technology. We have 9 western qualified vets and 13 western qualified nurses, with trainee nurses, nursing assistants, dedicated reception staff and a full time pharmacist.

Qualified Veterinary Nurse:-

We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified veterinary nurse for this challenging and varied role which involves all facets of in-patient care, critical care, anaesthesia monitoring, soft tissue and orthropaedic surgical nursing, assisting radiography, high dental caseload (incl dental radiography), in house diagnostics (laboratory), and physiotherapy/rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:-

A recognized veterinary nursing qualification at diploma level (Aus/NZ) or qualified RCVS nursing or above and have a minimum of two years nursing experience in a companion animal clinic that has included anaesthetic nursing.

Physically fit, focused, adaptable, reliable and responsible, with excellent attention to detail and initiative.

An ability to think critically, multi task, and act promptly while under pressure. 

Good animal handling and empathetic care of patients.

Excellent command of written and verbal English.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both colleagues and clients.

A professional and positive attitude.

Excellent organisational ability and self motivation

An ability to work well as part of our large team is very important.
