We require a fully qualified RVN to make full use of their nursing skills. Experience is an advantage. These include full responsibility for animals under general anaesthesia, the ability to start and monitor animals on IVFT and taking blood samples as required. Nursing care will extend to medical cases that we hospitalise.
We have a dedicated Nurse room where we hold clinics for laser therapy, Golden Oldies, diabetes clinics and post op checks to name a few. At times, nurses are in charge of ordering our stock and unpacking and restocking. Running of lab samples is common as is assisting vets to hold animals and take blood samples.
The nurse will be given full responsibility to use their skills. No OOH. 1 in 3 Saturdays. Very little if any reception duties. Salary depending on experience £22,000 - £25,000 to be discussed at expenses paid interview. CPD is encouraged and funded and we offer exclusive company discounts, reward schemes and career development.
