Join our brilliant, friendly nursing team
Being a veterinary nurse takes a special kind of person who is able to deal with both humans and animals alike. While there are numerous duties that are part of the job, the primary responsibility of our veterinary nurses is to care for our clients pets, looking after them whilst they are often at their most vulnerable. Being able to communicate with their owners, demonstrating compassion and understanding is also an integral part of the role.
We are looking to employ a registered veterinary nurse to join our brilliant 11 strong team of nurses in our purpose built small animal practice in Bridgwater with a branch surgery in Burnham on Sea.
We are forward thinking, with experienced vets and with a wide and varied case load, including keyhole surgery and endoscopy.
We pride ourselves in carrying out our own Out of Hours thereby giving our patients the best possible care.
We are a Tier 2 accredited RCVS practice, have recently been awarded Outstanding in Client Care by the RCVS and are a nurse training practice.
The position is for a 44.6 hour average working week including on site out of hours work. We pay a competitive salary, have an out of hours bonus scheme and support and fund CPD.
