Modern, Independent Practice at the Gateway to the South Downs NP
Hello!
We are a new, independent, single-centre, SA practice in Liphook on the Hampshire/Surrey border, in bright, air-conditioned premises, designed for the comfort of our patients and staff, with separate cat and dog waiting rooms and wards.
ISFM 'Silver' Cat-Friendly accredited
RWAF 'Silver' Rabbit-Friendly accredited
BBVA 'Bee-Friendly' practice
VNTC
Puffer-fish dentist....
Since opening in 2015 we have grown fast, purely by word-of-mouth, and have a lovely clientele who value our personal, 'patient first' approach. We need another dedicated RVN, ideally with some experience, to expand capacity and enable the next step in our development (some of which may surprise you). If you feel you have the ability to coordinate and lead the nursing team, then the salary will reflect the additional responsibility.
Visiting orthopaedic specialists add to the surgical variety, while a few exotic species brighten up the waiting rooms, and we work with a local wildlife rehab centre to ensure the best outcome for those without owners. Emergencies OOH are handled by a nearby dedicated centre and care of our in-patients is well-paid and on an equally shared rota.
You will be working with friendly and welcoming colleagues- a gifted 2nd year trainee, two experienced part-time RVNs (one our clinical coach), a receptionist and one vet, who very much hopes to be joined by another soon. There's plenty of new kit to assist you and special interests are encouraged and funded as we are always looking to enhance patient care.
An attractive package awaits you, a 'proper' pension, and the whole of the SDNP on your doorstep! But if rolling green hills aren't your thing, then we are yards from a mainline railway station to the bright-lights.
We feel we our approach is a little bit unique, staunchly independent, putting ethics before financial gain, and entirely focused on our patients' welfare. Come and see the difference.
