Friendly team, 4 day week, Schedule 3 tasks to the max
Full time RVN required for 40 hours per week in Denny, compressed into a 4 day working week.
We are an accredited purpose built small animal practice, and a VN training practice. We heavily encourage CPD and personal development, and invest in up to date equipment for the practice. Our busy nursing team are driven and carry out their full set of schedule 3 procedures from blood samples to x-rays, premedication and induction of anaesthesia to minor surgical procedures to a full consulting rota including nurse clinics and health checks.
The team here is excellent, welcoming, and friendly, and we like to think of ourselves as forward thinking and driven by providing excellent clinical services to clients. This would be an excellent long term prospect for a nurse to settle in to. The practice is in a beautiful location with a view over the Ochils from the consulting room, yet with easy access to Motorways for commuting. Case load is 40% dogs, 40% cats and 20% exotics.
For the role it's self, we want to welcome a new RVN who will come to us with drive to learn and improve their nursing skill set through in house and external training. Full time 40 hours per week compressed into 4 working days. Quiet on call, 1 in 4. Vets answer the phone, nurses only called if required - average 1.5 nurse call out per month total. Also 1 in 4 Saturday morning 09:00-12:00 to coincide with the weekend on call.
Employee benefits include private healthcare insurance; matched employer pension contribution up to 4% of salary; funded CPD, RCVS fees and any vet/nursing society of your choosing; cycle to work scheme. Salary 18K for at least 1 year qualified, by experience otherwise.
I am happy to talk about this role over the phone prior to a formal application, please ask for Douglas Paterson.
