A varied role within the veterinary Industry supporting our field team.

Job Description

TVM UK is a fast-growing Animal Health company dealing directly with UK Veterinary Practices. Following its move to rural Oxfordshire, we are looking to expand the team and add to our Head Office staff by recruiting an inside sales support person; whose primary mission will be to assist our field sales team in increasing their effectiveness, enhance customer service and deploy head office-based promotions. Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the Field Team, Key Account Manager and Marketing team.

 

Salary:   Commensurate with experience        

Full Time, Permanent

Hours:   Monday - Friday, ideally 9 am – 5 pm but we do have some flexibility on this.

To give you an idea what to expect, you`ll be:

Taking part in an in-depth induction and training programme to ensure you’re a technical expert when it comes to answering customer queries.

Sales Team support

  • Providing friendly first line assistance for our customers via phone.
  • Follow-up calls and actions (e.g. CPD certificates)
  • Appointment making (when required)
  • “Real time” modification of call plans (e.g. if appointment cancels & TM driving)
  • Take calls for absent Territory Managers
  • CRM training for all commercial team users
  • Proposition of new ideas for CRM development to the CRM administrator

Key Account Manager support

  • Deploy agreed campaigns (e.g. to book lunch and learns in a key account)
  • Internal additional point of contact with operations teams in Key accounts

Customer service

  • Primary contact for customer enquiries
  • Outbound information (email, literature etc)
  • Attendance at some shows

Working within a lively and at times challenging environment so you`ll take multitasking and team work in your stride, enjoying a variety of tasks.

About you:

  • Previous experience in sales and customer support
  • Science-based education
  • Proven ability to build relationships via phone, email, social media
  • Preferably with knowledge of the of the animal health market industry

Qualities:

Cheerful, team orientated, commercially minded, resilient negotiator with empathy for practice staff.

IT:

Use of MS Office. Use of CRM and Business Intelligence software.

Languages: Proficient level in English (fluent).

 

Location:

Based in our rural dog friendly Kirtlington Head Offices the role will involve limited travel to shows and to accompany field personnel.
