£22,214 - £25,728 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse with an interest in anaesthesia to work at the Hospital for Small Animals, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Easter Bush Campus.
You will assist in monitoring routine and complex anaesthetic cases in our multi-specialist referral centre. Managing pre and post-operative care of anaesthesia patients you will also assist in the teaching of Veterinary undergraduates and student nurses. You will ensures specialist equipment is maintained to a high standard and the department is adequately stocked.
Experience of working in a referral hospital, and a keenness for teaching are advantageous but consideration will be given to individuals seeking to develop their careers.
The standard working day is 08.30 – 17:00. In addition you will participate in a 1 in 8 weekend shift rota (8.30-5pm). In return we offer a supportive, expert team and a generous CPD and holiday allowance.
