GENERAL SUMMARY

Henry Schein Veterinary Solutions (now Covetrus) is part of Henry Schein Inc which provides Innovative Solutions for Health Care Professionals. HSVS has over 30 years’ experience in the veterinary market and has developed into the UK’s biggest and best-supported supplier of practice management and business solutions to all types of veterinary practice.

The Training Solutions Consultant will be responsible for the client relationship during the client onboarding phase. You will deliver software learning for our products to our clients in the veterinary sector.  You will build a strong client relationship, on-site and remotely, so you must have excellent communications skills, be positive and energetic.

You will actively manage the implementation process for our clients, and liaise with engineering, data conversion, sales and support functions to make it happen.

You will be responsible for the creation and enhancement of our learning collateral to support the onboarding client experience. You will be creative in the development of learning collateral, and the consideration of the learning journey and how best to make learning stick.

This role requires travel across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically competent individual who is excited about enabling clients to take up and use our product.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for onboarding new clients, developing the client relationship and delivering a smooth adoption of the software and data migration. This includes liaison with Sales, Engineering, Data Conversion and Support functions.
  • Deliver product knowledge f2f and remotely and drive initial application configuration and data mapping for conversions.
  • Assess early adoption of software and proactively problem solve and seek a timely resolution to implementation issues. Additionally, drive uptake of functional modules or future training.
  • Deliver ‘happy clients’ into the Support phase, and handover the client relationship to Support and Client Account Manager.
  • Develop learning collateral – learning journeys, videos, webinars, help docs, transcripts and test scripts to support the product learning.
  • Manage and deliver user groups and regional training schools.
  • Manage release changes to learning collateral, ensuring change is reflected across the knowledgebase.
  • Be an enthusiastic team member and actively contribute to the ongoing development of our team function, and ability to create happy clients.

CORE TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Work with stakeholders to create features, epics and user stories
  • Work with the scrum team to identify potential implementation solutions
  • Assist QA with test preparation by creating test cases, test conditions, and test data
  • Assist QA with internal test execution, inclusive of documenting results, tracking bugs, and troubleshooting defects and issues that arise out of testing
  • Create and/or update client-facing documentation to support new releases

ADDITIONAL TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Provide consultancy to the product and development teams regarding product issues and product enhancement requirements
  • Any ad-hoc requirements within your team during holidays or sickness

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

 

3 + years of relevant work experience in any of the following:

  • Experience in a software training role.
  • Experience creating learning collateral.
  • Experience of the veterinary sector.

In addition to:

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence others and to be driven by success.
  • Quick to pick up and apply new functionality, product and or technical knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills. Full understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Specialised Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to convey information in a clear, fluent, structured and unambiguous way.
  • An innate ability to quickly assess and adapt learning techniques to support the range of training needs of the recipient.
  • Passionate about the delivery of learning and user experience.
  • High degree of creativity, initiative and self-motivation to work autonomously producing highly accurate work.
  • Ability to main composure when under pressure or faced with difficult situations, keeping the focus on the client and your relationship with them.
  • Build great relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues
  • Willingness to apply extra effort from time to time and to work flexibly to meet client/business needs.
  • Resourceful and keen to learn and share knowledge.
  • Clean driving license.
