This is a chapter in which many of the topics overlap other subjects in the syllabus. I have endeavoured to elaborate on those that have only been touched on briefly, whilst providing references to enable you to source information on those that have already been covered in depth.

Practical experience is an absolute must. It is very unusual to sit a practical exam without having to dress at least one part of an animal, so do make sure that your bandaging technique is spot on!
