&lt;p&gt;We are a friendly, independent, mixed practice based in Devon - between the moors and the sea.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to join our nursing team at our Bovey Tracey branch.&amp;nbsp; The successful applicant will work as a veterinary nursing assistant , working closely with our team of experienced nurses and veterinary surgeons, to provide the best patient and client care.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Applicants should be flexible, dedicated, have excellent organisational skills, with a desire to deliver consistently great results. Duties will be varied and will include all aspects of nursing and patient care.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As we are an independent practice, we cover our own on call; this is shared equally between the nursing team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ANA qualification and experience within the sector is a must for this role.&amp;nbsp; There is the potential to go on and complete the Veterinary Nursing qualification, but this wouldn't be available to you for another 2 years, as we already have students training.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is a full time position (40 hours/week - mixed shifts between 8am &amp;amp; 7pm) The on call rota is shared between the nursing team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Applicants should be efficient, dedicated and have excellent organisational skills, with a desire to deliver consistently great results.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Duties will be varied and will include assisting the veterinary team with surgical (anaesthesia) and medical cases, as well as general nursing duties.&amp;nbsp; The successful candidate will work with the nursing team towards expanding the practice's&amp;nbsp;current services&amp;nbsp;in areas of expertise/interest - nurse clinics/anaesthetics/in-patient care.&amp;nbsp; You will be a&amp;nbsp;proficient&amp;nbsp;communicator, have a positive attitude &amp;amp; excellent bedside manner.&amp;nbsp;Someone with clinical coaching experience would be beneficial, as this will enable us to continue working with our student nurses.&amp;nbsp; Whilst the majority of your work would be based around companion animal care, there is the opportunity to expand your knowledge into large animal care (ewe/goat caesarians, colt castrates).&lt;/p&gt;
