I have asked everyone I know and am still at a total loss. I am due to start my training in January and am very lucky to have been offered two placements. I have done work experience at both and both are offering the same pay. The first (I'll call vet A) has a lovely calm, atmosphere, very well organised and everyone seems to get on, it was however a 1hr 15 min commute. The other (vet B) seems less organised, very busy, understaffed and I witnessed a few arguments but it was a 20 min drive away. It seems like an obvious choice but the drive for me is really a large factor. During my 2 weeks experience at vet A, I really found my stress levels building and by the end of the week not being able to sleep. I was doing practice shifts and was finding i was out the house for 11-12 hours a day. I don't know if I could get used to this or if I would feel worse when I start actually working. I also worry that I wouldn't have much time to study outside of work. I would really appreciate any advice, as I am running out of time to make a decision
