I just slipped over on wet floor at work and landed flat on my back, not the best way for my boss to find me in the prep-room!
So I've decided that I probably need to invest in some non-slip shoes as even though that

Re: Non-Slip Shoes

Toffeln clogs are really comfy, hardwearing, non slip and have pretty funky designs.

Re: Non-Slip Shoes

ditto that, ended up skiing over a wet floor when i was being pulled by a large dog. not glamourous!

Re: Non-Slip Shoes

My crocs are also like skates now... I went ass over tit outside the practice last week when it rained. They have new paving up the street that is very smooth and kind of marbley, and in the rain it is terrifying. I have nearly fallen on it about four times before I actually did, to the point that now when it's raining I walk in the gutter on the road!

The crocs 'bistro' shoes have a very solid non slip tread, but I found that they were just too hot- they're not vented like other crocs, they are designed for the workplace so no holes.

I did a bit better in them with pop socks but still not ideal.

Re: Non-Slip Shoes

Sanita Professional clogs are the most comfortable shoe i've ever owned. They do wonders for my back as well. You have to buy a size bigger than what you would normally wear though they should slip on and off easily and not be tight fitting on the heel. you can get them at a reasonable price here:

worldofclogs.com

They're a bit pricey but hard wearing and well worth it. You can get the backless ones as well.

Re: Non-Slip Shoes

Cool thanks for the tip about replacing regularly!
