I went to Shamrock street in the 2nd year of my degree. Its so worth working at a PDSA for training, you will learn and gain a lot of clinical experience. (although learn to hold your own!)

Oooo I take that back - PDSA is not a VNAC/TP and doesn't accept student nurses EXCEPT for Glasgow! They are still a listed TP - I was told when I worked for them that they'd ceased to take students, full-stop, bar degree students on unpaid placements.

Hmm, my friend is training with PDSA as a degree student so not too sure now!! Maybe a TP for degree students but not hiring if that makes sense? No idea 2bh! My friend is in the tollcross one in Glasgow!

It's not as the PDSA no longer trains student nurses due to cost. Real shame as they were one of the best VN trainers around! :(
