Hello peeps, Sorry for the confusion..., yes there was a post, and Saskia replied after I removed it. I removed it with the intention of putting it back up in a couple of days time.

No major mystery, just something I heard on the grapevine.

I haven't seen the original post, I am not aware of any proposed alterations to the VSA that have not involved discussions with both VN Council & BVNA over a considerable length of time. I have been trying to reply to this for ages - my internet connection is so slow and I had to top up in the middle of it all!!

So, 3rd time lucky

After everything that has been done by you, Claire and Nick, and those of us who signed the petition to protect the title of the VN, I am not very happy at all to hear that the RCVS are making adjustments to the VS act - without taking VN's into consideration - quite frankly, I am shocked, to say the least. Has no one been listening all this time?

I understand your concerns Sandra, and I can totally understand why you are so angry about it all. Makes you wonder if all the work was in vain, eh? I can also understand you not paying your RCVS fees again this year, however, that said - I do think the petition is being heard, as you say, maybe not loud enough, or, on the other hand, maybe too loud? Who knows? Maybe they are not ready for us to be a profession in our own right yet, I really dont know.

But I am gravely concerned by your post AND I think we, as VN's deserve an answer to all this.
