Once you are on the phone with the practice manager / head nurse, offer to do some voluntary work - weekdays would be best if your other commitments will allow.</p> <p>Do you drive? I found getting my license helped too, as reliance on public transport is a no no if you are asked to do on call.</p> <p>Do you have any work experience in veterinary practice yet?
