We used to love watching this when it came out many years ago, then went the way of the soap opera and we stopped. It lost the serious plot London's burning and The Bill also used to be brilliant till they went all eastender/corronation street mode.

I couldn't agree more - why has everything had to turn into a soap opera - maybe it is easier for the writers. It seems that it is less about the story and the environment and more about the 'lame' characters. I don't watch any of thesse now and haven't for years which probably also means I do sometimes miss some good TV. Just looking forward to the Autumn returns of Silent Witness and Dexter - soaps just don't do it for me!

Re: Casualty

We used to love watching this when it came out many years ago, then went the way of the soap opera and we stopped.
