I couldn't agree more - why has everything had to turn into a soap opera - maybe it is easier for the writers. It seems that it is less about the story and the environment and more about the 'lame' characters. I don't watch any of thesse now and haven't for years which probably also means I do sometimes miss some good TV. Just looking forward to the Autumn returns of Silent Witness and Dexter - soaps just don't do it for me!
