What if we could have a "table" at the BVNA congress this year & we'd get a chance to meet all the nurses on here that we've never met before.

Or if we can't get to congress then how about us all arranging a Vetnurse Congress between ourselves??

Personally I'd love to met Sal, Angiey, Nick, Claire, Tracy, Vicky (hope I'm not missing anyone but I think I've met most of the rest of the "usual" crowd)

G'ma Mellor isn't my biological grandma - my grandparents all died before I was born, but she was a surrogate grandma to our whole family, and a very intelligent and interesting lady!

People who have passed away would be my grandparents, i miss them all so much . My last grandma only died in Feb so its still a bit fresh for me.

My Daddy. I was 10 when died and I never really knew him and I only have faded memories. So would love to sit and chat to him about everything and anything! Although being veggy and having 3 cats would make him laugh and he would no doubt tell me off!!

Famous people? Richard Branson, all the things hes overcome to be a successful as he has, just would be interesting guy to meet!!

I would also love to meet my great granddad, he was killed or was a prisoner of war in WW2 nobody is sure, he was german though, so yeah a Nazi, just think he would have a few tales to tell and that would be interesting!

I used to sit on Grandad's (dad's dad) chair, hiding behind a cusion, he'd sit down and go "lumpy lumpy lumpy!" and "Where'd she go?" lol, used to crack me up. Never knew he died, he just suddenly wasn't there :( I reemember the car windscreen breaking one day in the car, apparently I wouldn't stop saying "Gang-gang's car gone bang!" for weeks after, I was 2 or 3 at the time.
Never got to met my other Grandad (mum's dad) as he died before I was born, I think it was only a few months before. Lost my Grandma quite a few years ago, I miss her like mad, and regret not visiting her more. Was a work-o-holic, and when I first got a text telling me she was in hospital I thought it was nothing serious. She'd fallen out her chair last time and told me she didn't know what the fuss was about! Not until another 2 days later, in a mock exam getting a text "She hasn't got long, get here now" that I realised what was going on. My family have always hidden stuff from me. :( Still, she's not in pain any more, and I was there at the end, even got to spend some "alone time" as everyone else disappeared. I hope she could hear me, I'm sure she squeezed my hand.
Don't talk to my Nanna as we fell out 8yrs ago, which is sad. I did go see her when she was in hospital, but not since.
Promise to stop bringing this thread down now!

I'm not sure who I'd want to have dinner with. Be nice if ALL my family could get togeather for a change. That includes my younger sister who dislikes my older sister, and my older sister who spends more time with her other halfs family and sees my mum once every other year. My poor mum.

Ok, NOW I'll stop bring the thread down! lol!

My grandpa on my dad's side who died before I was born but left a book about his experiences away from home during the war - just sounds a fascinating person.

Richard Branson cos he's also had a colourful life (he'd pay of course!)

That Simon Calder bloke ("travel expert", slightly geeky bloke off the telly) cos I love chatting to well travelled people.

Dave Spikey cos he cracks me up.

Patrick Stewart - especially if I could sit next to him, Milton Errickson (pyschotherapy), Virginia Satir (family therapy)because I would really like to meet the woman I had to play in a family reconstruction. Fritz Perls ( Gestalt therapy) bit of a letch by all accounts and would have spiced things up a bit. Elio de Angelis, Ayrton Senna, Michele Alborreto ( formula one drivers) and Buzz Aldrin. Theres a few others but would need a bigger table
