They probably know the response if they say it is a shock collar. If its a shock collar please use the work 'turd' when you reply to them

Funnily enough my school 'friend' hasn't responded on facebook to my question as to if it's a shock collar

My neighbour had the radio fence - not sure if its the same?

Anyway, the dogs - 2 labradors normally stayed within the boundaries, until there was a childrens birthday party on nearby, and there the two of them would have appeared and stayed for the duration!

You'll need to double check this one, but I have this niggling feeling that they were outlawed (although this may have been only in a different part of the country). Hell I remember a massive hoo-hah at Crufts a few years back, they banned anyone trading there from advertising them.

I got a load of flack from a pet store I used to work at, I refused to promote, sell or suggest the static shock collars to customers. Manager saw them just as a money maker, not as a cruel form of 'discipline'.

Yeah it sure would!!!

I'm waiting for her response to see if it is a shock collar she's using (on her spaniel pup who from the looks of it is only about 9 months old!!!! She's just said she's using an 'electric training collar'....it COULD be a citronella one i suppose, but have a horrible feeling it's not
