&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve had vets speak to me like this when they were actually at primary schook the year i qualified as a VN!&amp;nbsp; I no longer care, i take a deep breath and rise above it!!&lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Angel_smiley.png" alt="Angel" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I just say yes or no as appropriate, then if they ask me to do something i&amp;#39;m not happy doing then i ask them for direction. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know some of &amp;quot;my team&amp;quot; are more happy to let me do things than others, during the uni breaks it is an ideal time for me to ask if I can do some things to get the practice in cos during term times we are surrounded by students so have no or very little opportunity to gain experience.&lt;/p&gt;
