My partner is going to be doing to all the first viewings so I can concentrate on my portfolio and revision. He is my rock and am leaving it all to him. We just want to be able to buy our own place but its sooo expensive to get on the property ladder and just won't be possible unless we both change jobs to some thing wih more money

ok it is horrible timing, i agree! But she sounds like an awful Landlady! So just look out for a better flat! I don't use a letting agent for the fact I like dealing with landlord direct. Our landlord is a business but does it himself has various properties etc, anyways my point is maybe look for a private rent with no letting agents? Also avoids alot of fee that way too!! :)! And you get the direct contact with landlord too! :) Always make sure there is a contract tho obv!

We always knew it would be a possibilty. And to be honest are not too bothered as don't want to deal with this land lady any more.She has not been great and have told the letting agent that we will not be renting another property owned by the same woman who currenty owns the one we are in now. If she does not want to deal with her tenants she ignores them.

I am just getting worked up with the timing especially as there isn't really any thing about where we want to live and where we can afford.
