&lt;p&gt;thanks for the replies- ended up using sal&amp;#39;s idea- the histo pots. they&amp;#39;re exactly the right size and don&amp;#39;t leak when i&amp;#39;m pinching stain froma nother surgery! &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Tonque_out_smiley.png" alt="Stick out tongue" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Dont know if the practice ever got them - I left the job. Next best option I found was the biopsy pots with yellow screw top lid (not universal containers they arent wide enough) or the screwtop plastic jars they use for path samples (generally sputum&amp;nbsp;or large stool samples in humans&amp;nbsp;which you can order as singles from NVS)&lt;/p&gt;
